Summer Ice: Patch Blocks

You can also visit the ice at De Vechtsebanen in the summer. On our indoor rink, we offer special patch blocks for skaters and clubs who want to train outside the regular season. These blocks are intended for disciplines such as ice hockey and figure skating.

Please note: During these hours, recreational skating is not possible and speed skates are not allowed.

Access and reservation

During the summer period, skate rental is closed and no subscriptions are available. Access to the patch ice is only possible with an online ticket, which must be reserved in advance. A ticket costs €15,95 per person per patch block and covers one 75-minute patch block (excluding resurfacing time). In exceptional cases, a block may last 60 minutes; this will be indicated on the website. A maximum of 25 skaters are admitted per block.

Unable to attend after all? You can reschedule your ticket to another time yourself via the online reservation system up to 4 hours in advance.

Supervisors and supporters

Coaches and supporters are welcome in the stands with a coach ticket. This ticket can only be booked in combination with a paid skating ticket.

Note: An accompanying person ticket does not grant access to the ice, and the ticket is not intended for trainers.

Trainers must always possess a valid admission ticket, unless they are affiliated with an association that purchases summer ice at the Vechtsebanen.

Terms and conditions for trainers and coaches

Trainers and coaches require a valid admission pass to supervise skaters on the ice. Are you a trainer or coach at a club that purchases summer ice at De Vechtsebanen? Rent patch block exclusively

Track rules

• De Vechtsebanen reserves the right to cancel a patch block in exceptional cases (for example, during an event).
• It is not permitted to enter the ice with shoes or skates.
• The ice master supervises the occupancy of the rink and may refuse persons access to the ice if there is reason to do so.
• No first aid facilities are available during patch sessions; participation in the patch ice is at your own risk.
• De Vechtsebanen is not liable for loss of personal property.
• In cases not covered by these regulations, De Vechtsebanen shall decide.
