Catering assistant
We are looking for enthusiastic team players who can provide our guests with a fantastic experience! As a host/hostess, you are responsible for the smooth running of our catering locations, including our café, ice skating restaurant and conference centre. You provide a hospitable welcome and provide guests with snacks and drinks. Flexible working hours are no problem for you and you bring positive energy to our team.

De Vechtsebanen
The Vechtsebanen is the only artificial ice rink in the province of Utrecht. Skating on the 400 meter track in the season from September to March, or on our indoor rink all year round. A curling or ice hockey clinic, company parties or another event. In addition to skating, many other activities take place, including business meetings, drinks and events. With the 3 permanent catering establishments and 7 meeting rooms, there is always something to do. We provide our visitors with a snack and a drink in several places. There is a skating restaurant where skaters like to enjoy a hot chocolate milk or a freshly baked cookie. And in our café, various drinks and meetings take place, but visitors can also go here for a fresh daily special.

What are you going to do?
- Ensure a warm welcome for all guests.
- Serving guests and serving snacks and drinks.
- Respond flexibly to different locations within the campus.
- Contribute to a positive and lively atmosphere.
Who are we looking for?
- Experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage, but not a requirement.
- Professionalism and a friendly smile.
- Positive attitude and creating a vibrant working environment.
- Proactive and guest-oriented.
- Flexible availability from September to April.
- Available at least 2 days a week, but more is of course also possible.
- Good command of the Dutch language.
- Living in the Utrecht region.
- You are also available on weekends and/or evenings.
- You have your own transportation. Also late at night.
