Opening weekend winter season 2026/2027!

The 2026-2027 winter season is starting!

Summer is almost over, and that means only one thing: the ice is coming back! At De Vechtsebanen, we are getting ready for a new winter season full of skating fun. The official opening of the 2026-2027 winter season takes place on October 3rd. We would love to celebrate this with you on October 3rd and 4th; come skate for just €2,50 per person!

The associations kick off

On September 28, the skating season kicks off again for indoor rink clubs. The first skaters will be back on the ice then, and from that moment on, De Vechtsebanen will slowly come fully back to life. But of course, it’s not just a celebration for our indoor rink clubs: from October 3, our 400-meter track will be officially open again, and all recreational skaters and outdoor rink clubs will be welcome back! Time to dust off your skates and hit the ice!

Opening weekend on October 3 & 4

On Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4, we celebrate the official start of the new 26/27 winter season with our annual opening weekend. To celebrate this properly with you, you can come skate with us on October 3 and 4 for just €2,50 per person! This way, we turn the start of the new season into a party right away and invite everyone to hit the ice again!

Whether you have been itching to skate again for weeks, want to hit the ice with friends, or simply fancy a fun start to the season: this is the perfect time to return to De Vechtsebanen.

Tickets for the opening weekend will be available online as soon as possible. So keep a close eye on our website!

Good to know: tickets at the box office are €1,50 more expensive per ticket than online. Ordering online is therefore not only easier, but also cheaper.

We are ready!
