Technical Service Colleague & (Assistant) Ice Master (38-40 hours)

Are you curious about what it's like to work on an artificial ice rink and take care of and maintain the ice all year round?
Do you want to be part of a sporty and collaborative team? Do you have a technical background and an affinity for skating—or does the combination of sports and corporate events appeal to you? Then we'd love to talk to you.

What are you going to do?

As an (Assistant) Ice Master, you and your team are responsible for creating and maintaining a perfect ice surface. You'll ensure optimal ice quality several times a day, using the ice squeegee, of course.

In addition:

• Are you the point of contact for our skaters and visitors?
• Are you visible and accessible on the work floor?
• Monitor the representativeness and safety of the complex.
• Carry out minor technical and facility maintenance.
• Pick up your cleaning duties where necessary.
• If the Technical Department handles technical reports, we will resolve them ourselves if we can. If specialized expertise is required, we will engage an external party.

In between mopping sessions, there is always a technical or facility job to be done – no two days are the same.

What are you bringing?

• MBO working and thinking level (preferably a technical background).
• Driving License B.
• Good command of the Dutch language, both oral and written.
• Willingness to work weekends and shifts (fixed schedule with good work-life balance).
• An active work attitude: you see work that needs to be done and don't shy away from challenges.
• Living in the Utrecht region.
• Immediately available (pré).

About Sports & Business Campus De Vechtsebanen

We are the only artificial ice rink in the province of Utrecht. Our complex features two ice rinks, a conference center with 11 meeting rooms, a vibrant café, and a snack restaurant. We organize and facilitate business meetings, drinks receptions, and events.
