At De Vechtsebanen, you'll experience it all to the fullest. Come ice skate freely, take skating lessons, or enjoy the show: Alice in Winterland. Enjoy the magical atmosphere on the ice and the delicious dishes in our restaurant! For all ages, there's something for everyone!

Free skating: enjoy the ice

Are you ready for an active activity for the whole family? We're open daily during the Christmas holidays, so you can come skating on our indoor and outdoor rinks. Bring your own skates or rent your skates At Watermansport, we're on-site. Even on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, the ice skating fun never ends!

Skating lessons: improve your technique with Duosport

Do you want to learn the basics of skating or improve your technique? View Duosport's holiday coursesPerfect for beginners or anyone looking to improve their skills. With Duosport skating lessons, you'll give your skating skills a significant boost and take to the ice with confidence!

Lessons during the Christmas holidays:

• Christmas week: December 22, 23 and 24, 2025
• New Year's week: December 29, 30 and 31, 2025

Time

• Block 1: 9:00 – 11:00
• Block 2: 11:30 – 13:30

Winter Flavors in Our Skating Restaurant

A day on the ice is sure to make you hungry! This month, our ice skating restaurant is once again serving delicious winter specials, perfect for warming up after an afternoon of skating.

For example:

• Warm apple strudel with vanilla sauce and a hot drink of your choice.
• Fries with Limburg stew and a soft drink of your choice.
• Real winter classics such as a Unox sandwich, pea soup and hot chocolate with whipped cream.

Essential Information

• Opening hours for free skating: We are open daily during the Christmas holidays, and we are also open during the Christmas holidays. View the ticket page for the current opening hours of the indoor and outdoor track.
• There is no need to buy a ticket far in advance, you can also simply do this via your phone when you are at our door!
• Skate rental: Available at the rink, choose ice hockey or figure skates.
