At De Vechtsebanen in Utrecht, you can enjoy the fun of skating on both our semi-covered 400-meter track and our versatile indoor rink. Whether you train competitively, skate recreationally, or take to the ice with family and friends, there is a suitable spot on the ice for everyone.
On our semi-covered 400-meter track, both experienced skaters and beginners have plenty of room to enjoy skating. The inner lanes are reserved for fast and advanced skaters, while beginners and families with children can skate safely on the outer side of the track.
Whether you are working on your technique, training for long distances, or just want to ride a relaxed lap: it is all possible on the 400-meter track.
For fast and competition-oriented skaters, there is a special Speedskating hour during the winter season on Friday mornings from 07:45 to 08:45. During this hour, skating follows a competition schedule, with separate lanes for warm-up and cool-down, speed, and starts.
Tickets and passes for the Speedskating hour are available exclusively online. The box office is closed at this time.
Our 30x60 meter indoor rink offers ample opportunities for recreational skating and various ice sports. When no competitions or other activities are taking place, the rink is open for free skating.

The indoor rink is located in our ice hockey stadium and accommodates up to 4.000 visitors. This makes it a versatile venue for sporting and other events, which is open all year round.
