Ready for a sporty moment for yourself, or perhaps a fun time together? Put on your skates and enjoy the ice at De Vechtsebanen. Whether you love speed skating, figure skating, short track, or ice hockey: there is plenty of room for every skating enthusiast to exercise and enjoy themselves.
Our complex features a semi-covered 400-meter track and a 30×60 meter indoor rink in our ice hockey stadium.

With a ticket for De Vechtsebanen, you in principle have access to both the 400-meter track and the indoor track, unless competitions, training sessions, or clinics are taking place.
Do you want to be sure that the indoor track is available? Then check this when booking your tickets. When selecting the desired day and time, you will immediately see whether the indoor track is open or closed.

On our semi-covered 400-meter track, you have plenty of space to enjoy a wonderful skating session. Whether you are just starting out, coming with children, or already have extensive experience with long-track speed skating: everyone is welcome. You can also skate freely on our indoor rink. Availability depends on competitions and other activities. When booking your ticket, you will immediately see if the indoor rink is open on your desired day and time.

Skating lessons are provided by Duosport at De Vechtsebanen. Short and long courses, lessons during the day, in the evening, in the weekend and during the school holidays: there is bound to be a course that fits your schedule!

Don't have your own skates? No worries! There is a Waterman Sport branch in our complex. As soon as you enter, you can easily rent speed skates, figure skates, or ice hockey skates directly at the counter.

Would you like to take to the ice with friends, colleagues, or family and then enjoy a bite and a drink? You are also very welcome at Vechtsebanen in the summer. Skating enthusiasts and clubs can enjoy the artificial ice (indoor rink) all year round.
During the summer period, we offer various blocks of patch ice for ice hockey, figure skating, clinics, and more. Check out the options and discover how you can continue to enjoy your favorite sport during the summer.

A day on the ice is, of course, not complete without something tasty. Whether you come skating with friends, family, or colleagues, you can visit our cozy skating café and restaurant for a well-deserved break. Warm up with a hot chocolate with whipped cream, enjoy a Unox sausage sandwich, or choose from various snacks and other delicious dishes.
Would you like to make it a full day out together? De Vechtsebanen offers various packages for groups, such as children's parties, school skating, clinics, and corporate outings. This way, you combine sportsmanship and fun for a day you won't soon forget.
Thanks to Frame Skating, children with physical disabilities can participate in skating lessons at ice rinks in the Netherlands. Simply put, together with children without disabilities: Skating Together!

Thanks to a skate frame, everyone can enjoy the real feeling of skating. This special sports aid consists of a sturdy frame with a seat, handlebars, and three blades, allowing you to glide safely and comfortably over the ice.
Even when standing or moving independently is difficult, a skate frame offers a solution. Children with a motor impairment, limited energy, or poor balance can propel themselves independently with the help of spikes under their feet and fully enjoy a sporty and unique experience on the ice.
In this video see how it works.
Frames are rented/lent out through the Waterman skate shop.

During the ice resurfacing times, we ask all skaters to temporarily leave the ice so that the ice surface can be maintained and leveled. This keeps the ice in optimal condition and ensures everyone can continue to enjoy a safe and pleasant skating experience.
Below you will find our standard floor cleaning times. Please note that these times may vary, for example due to reservations or during the summer holidays.
