Choose an afternoon of free skating or go for a Coolkids Party with a skating clinic. Whatever you choose, we will ensure a festive birthday that will be talked about for a long time. We look forward to welcoming you and your friends to our cozy ice rink! There are three options for a children's party at De Vechtsebanen.

It is possible to schedule a children's party starting from the opening of our season on October 3, 2026.

3. Coolkids Party: Ice hockey or figure skating

Option 1: Free skating

Head onto the ice together for a fun and sporty afternoon entirely in your hands! This party includes entry to the ice rinks and a choice of children's menu. Perfect for a sporty party!

• Costs: €17,00 per child
• Number: Bookable from 6 children
• Skates are not included, but you can rent them on location starting from €8.

Option 2: Coolkids party – Norwegians

During this festive clinic, the children learn to skate on speed skates under the guidance of an experienced instructor. The lesson is tailored to the level of the group, and of course, the birthday boy or girl is in the spotlight!

Afterwards, a delicious children's menu is ready to enjoy together!

• Cost: € 29, -
• Duration: Duration of the clinic is 1 hour
• Number: Bookable from 10 children; for fewer children, a surcharge of €10 per child applies.

Option 3: Coolkids party – Ice hockey or figure skating

Choose a cool ice hockey clinic or a challenging figure skating clinic. Under the guidance of an experienced instructor, the children are introduced to the sport and enjoy an active and fun afternoon on the ice together! The clinic is tailored to the group's skill level, and of course, the birthday boy or girl gets extra special attention!

• Duration: Duration of the clinic is 1 hour
• Number: Bookable from 10 children; for fewer children, a surcharge of €10 per child applies.

Enjoy a meal after skating

All that skating naturally makes you hungry! That is why all our children's parties include a delicious children's menu of your choice.

• Snack menu: Crispy fries with sauce, a tasty snack, Caprisun or a bottle of water
• Poffertjes menu: Delicious poffertjes, squeezed fruit, Caprisun or a bottle of water

In addition, various other snacks and drinks are available in our skating restaurant.

Drinks for accompanying persons are not included.

Important information for children's parties

• Children's parties include admission to both ice rinks, provided both are open.
• Children's parties are available for children aged 6 to 12 years old
• Children's parties include a children's menu, choice of snack or pancake menu.
• Children's parties can be booked on: Wednesday (12.45 – 16.00 pm), Friday (12.45 – 15.45 pm), Saturday (13.45 – 16.00 pm) or Sunday (14.15 – 16.00 pm)
• Skating is possible until 16.00:16.00 PM, after XNUMX:XNUMX PM it is still possible to eat.
• At the Coolkids parties it is important that the children have already mastered the basics of skating.
• Only ice hockey skates or figure skates are permitted on the inner rink. Speed ​​skates are not allowed on the inner rink.
• Bringing your own cake or other refreshments is not permitted.
• Children's parties can only be booked outside the school holidays of the Central and Northern Netherlands regions. During the holidays in the south, you are very welcome to come free skating!
